The Tombstone is an absolute beast. Designed for picking up waves early and drawing out long turns, it's like the fat cat for the 'bigger bloke' or 'more-to-love' woman. It's also great for grommet's to learn on and a great stepping stone from beginner to intermediate. It catches waves and plough's through the chop with ease. It's deceptively smaller than it looks. At 5'10 it's still light and? manoeuvrable.

We like to consider it a reverse Mullet -?  Party at the front, and business at the back.?

How's it ride?

If you have a look at this board, we've basically taken the front half off a Mini Mal, and the back half off more of a shortboard which is a good indicator of how this board surfs.

With the big planing area and sustained thickness through the front end, this thing paddles like a dream, and is ideal for catching waves nice and early. Rocker is pretty flat, so it also ploughs through chop

Off the back foot,  its surprisingly responsive and turns on a dime. Coming out of turns, it is quite stable with the wider nose, which makes it pretty user friendly to ride.

Ideal Wave Conditions

The tombstone is ideal for junky or weaker waves.

With some extra thickness, and a flat rocker, it ploughs through fat sections with ease.

Suggested Sizing

For Beginners, it is best suited for riders up to 50kg

For Intermediate Surfers, it is best suited for riders around 75g

For Advanced surfers, it should suit anyone up to about 110kg
